The school bears the name De Paul which stands for Saint Vincent De Paul, the universal patron of all social and charitable work. St. Vincent is a saint from France who stood for the noble cause of the poor, down trodden and ostracized ones of the society. He was called to eternal rest on September 27, which is celebrated as Patron’s Day at school. Although he is no more with us physically, his visions and mission continues to lead thousands from ignorance of darkness to knowledge of light. Thus the motto of our school is ‘Tama-soma-Jyothir-Gamaya” which means ‘Lead us from darkness to light’.
